MenuBy now you have decided on your theme so your next step is to create the menu!

This task is fun for some while others truly stress over the thought of cooking.  Whether you are a novice or an expert, we can help get you through this process successfully.

The first step in deciding your menu is how formal or casual you would like your menu to be for the particular occasion.  For example, if you are hosting a Mexican themed party you may want to keep things casual. On the other hand, if you are hosting an anniversary dinner you may want to consider a complete five course meal.  Either way,you now have to decide if this is a task that you are capable of or should you call in the reinforcements...

If you decide to call in reinforcements you may want to seach Google or Yahoo to find someone in your area.

However, if you plan to take this on yourself here are a few tips on getting started:

  1. Figure out your time line.
  2. Prepare as much food in advance as possible.
  3. Make sure you have ample oven and stove top space for your meal plan.
  4. Adjust the air conditioning to keep guest cool while cooking the day of.
  5. Leave plenty of time on the night of to be able to mingle with your guests and not get stuck in the kitchen.
  6. Enjoy a cocktail while cooking but not too many before the meal is ready so you can stay focussed!
