Guest ListThe guest list is the first step to planning the perfect dinner party. This is what dictates the rest of the planning process. The invitees will lay the ground work for you. For example, if you are inviting a group of people that know each other very well you might take more risks with the menu or theme. On the other hand, if you are hosting a dinner for colleagues at your home you might put on amore conservative evening.
I recommend that for your first dinner party you invite a group of people whom you are close. It will reduce the pressure of hosting a flawless dinner party. Consider this your test group.
After you know which group of guests you are selecting from you can now decide on the number of attendees.
