Plan-a-dinner-party.comcame to fruition in the spring of 2008.  The idea beganshortly after I was married in 2005.  As a newlywed couple, wefortunately received many wonderful gifts for our new home-China,silver and glassware being some of them!  We were the newrecipients are very beautiful serving dishes and ecclectic entertainingpieces but had no idea how to use it all.  I was eager to hostmy first dinner party and put these wonderful gifts to use.  

Like most new brides or first time homeowners, you don't know where tobegin.  The last time you hosted a dinner party was when youinvited college friends over for some pizza and a keg of beer. I knew I need some direction before I was to host my firstdinner party in our new home as a married couple.

Confident that there were others like me, I decided to publish thiswebsite to help encourage others to entertain.  Some of myfavorite evenings with firends are those spent around a dinner tablelingering in conversation as the candles burn out.
